Organization profile
The AUD group aims to develop, publish, and disseminate research around two main areas: 1) contemporary urban processes and dynamics, and 2) urban and architectural historiography and historical heritage, from new theoretical and methodological perspectives. This involves opening new lines of research within the discipline while simultaneously fostering interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary work, with the participation of international researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate and postgraduate students. These areas and the research topics to be developed align with the research lines of Sustainable Urbanism and History and Conservation, and with the University Social Responsibility (USR) action lines of Adaptation to Climate Change and the Promotion of Sustainable and Resilient Cities, and Strengthening Democracy, Citizenship, and a Culture of Peace.
