Organization profile

The research group “Change Managers and Educational Innovation” (GCIE) was created in response to the need to strengthen collaborative research activities. Its objective is to develop studies that link research with university social responsibility, seeking to improve and advance the surrounding environment together with the university where students or graduates live. In this sense, its field of research is Social Sciences, and its priority lines include educational management and quality, and pedagogical innovations, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as reduced inequalities and quality education. It is framed within the lines of university social responsibility (USR), including support for reducing gaps and deficiencies in education at all levels, as well as strengthening democracy, citizenship, and a culture of peace. These studies are expected to be innovative and entrepreneurial in order to promote economic development and employment.
