Organization profile

The research group is composed of postgraduate faculty members, mostly teachers, with a strong commitment to the health and education of school-aged children. There is concern regarding both health and the quality of education, in which neuroscience is often not integrated as a tool to strengthen and enhance student learning. Neuroeducation is a science aimed at improving learning processes, and there are many gaps in the Peruvian educational system. Many teachers do not update their knowledge and strategies. The objective of the group is to conduct research in cognitive neuroscience and learning processes. This work is supported by the University Social Responsibility (USR) action lines, focusing on reducing educational gaps and deficiencies at all levels, as well as promoting health, nutrition, and food safety.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. Our work contributes towards the following SDG(s):

  1. SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-being
SDG 3 Good Health and Well-being
  2. SDG 4 - Quality Education
    SDG 4 Quality Education
