The gi evred aims to improve scientific understanding of the ecophysiological and molecular processes of tropical plants, as well as to restore degraded ecosystems. It also seeks to reduce the impacts of climate change and anthropogenic effects on biodiversity and ecosystems. The gi evred is based at the universidad cesar vallejo (ucv), east campus, and has been operating since 2023.
