The GIEIT research group is composed of five members and aims to contribute, through its research, to solving current problems facing our country. Infectious and communicable diseases represent a major public health issue; therefore, it is important to understand them in order to prevent their spread.

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. Our work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
