Organization profile
The Research Group on Technology Applied to Occupational Safety, Performance, and Quality of Life (GiTaSyC) is a team composed of professionals, students, and researchers with experience mainly in the field of Engineering and Technology at the Universidad César Vallejo, in collaboration with national and international research faculty.
GiTaSyC aims to generate research and contribute to knowledge related to specific research lines such as safety and quality management systems, as well as sports techniques and tactics. Its main focus is within the Industrial Engineering program at UCV, while recognizing that the pursuit of scientific evidence requires the integration of knowledge rather than its fragmentation, in line with contemporary trends observed in leading global research centers.
In general, GiTaSyC’s activities are aimed at addressing key problems of ergonomics and performance in both work and daily environments from a biomechanical perspective, applying technologies that help reduce or prevent work-related injuries and identify associated factors through multidisciplinary research, including psychological and physiological variables.
To achieve this, research projects will be proposed to compete for funding opportunities and to participate in scientific events (both in Peru and internationally), with the goal of disseminating the results scientifically and involving the university’s research community and invited national and international collaborators, making this knowledge accessible to both local and global society.
