The social communication research group (gics) aims to study the communication processes that take place in today's society. The communication processes studied in gics are approached from various communication disciplines, such as journalism, advertising, audiovisuals, corporate communication, and communication for development. The research group conducts quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research to deeply understand what is happening in society from a communicational perspective.
