Engineering for development and the environment

Organization profile

Organization profile

The research group IDMA is a multidisciplinary and multi-institutional group because the research topics present aspects from various disciplines that will be addressed using data generated by different public and private institutions. The research group idma justifies its creation because it will provide innovative proposals and patent-generating outcomes to society and the university, resulting from the research it will conduct, as well as the dissemination of its advances in international forums through presentations and/or publication of scientific articles and books. Furthermore, considering the multidisciplinary nature of the work, the research to be developed aims to promote the use of engineering as a tool for development by studying the environment and the environmental, economic, social, and legal impacts.
