Organization profile

The research group will be composed of faculty members from the Professional School of Business Engineering and includes Engineers Desmond Mejía, Guido Trujillo, and Lino Rodríguez, who, in addition to their teaching duties, have experience in producing scientific articles at both bibliographic and research levels, published in indexed journals and book chapters. They have also participated as speakers in presentations at national and international conferences. The formation of this research group is justified by the university’s aim to strengthen the intellectual and research production of its faculty, ensuring alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this regard, the academic outputs proposed by the group will be framed within these goals and the lines of action of University Social Responsibility (USR). Likewise, the research group aims to generate scientific articles at bibliographic, systematic, and research levels, all aligned with the current approved research lines of the School of Business Engineering and with the USR action framework. This is part of a continuous improvement policy that reflects the university’s mission, demonstrating the knowledge developed and disseminated as part of its institutional commitment to the community and stakeholder groups in its environment. This seeks to transcend from an internal and autonomous setting to an open position influenced by various external factors, establishing a reciprocal relationship of continuous feedback with its surrounding environment.
