"Insights data & educational quality" is an interdisciplinary research group that interacts and carries out research to generate scientific and academic knowledge products in one or several topics, developing and implementing statistical and probabilistic methods for making intelligent decisions in various fields of research, specifying quality and learning; it refers to the use of data and analysis to understand and improve educational quality. It carries this name as it is the term used to describe the knowledge gained from data analysis. Educational quality and learning for knowledge acquisition, in other words, focuses on obtaining knowledge from data, while ensuring that these data are of good quality, it is about learning reliably from accurate information. It is the useful information extracted from raw data. It is justified because our existence occurs in an increasingly complex and uncertain universe, effective decision-making is crucial; probabilistic models and artificial intelligence offer powerful tools to analyze uncertainty and make accurate and informed decisions. Its objectives are: to contribute to scientific knowledge by generating new knowledge in various fields of study, particularly in educational quality, whether through basic or applied research; evaluate student performance, identify areas of improvement, and track their progress over time; analyze data such as socioeconomic status, access to resources, and teacher characteristics to understand which factors influence educational success; use data to adapt teaching to the individual needs of each student; base educational decisions on evidence and not just on intuition or tradition; identify and address performance gaps between different groups of students.
