Organization profile

The INSAAM research group is made up of four microbiologists, a doctor and a statistician who share an interest in contributing to both the generation of knowledge and the solution of health-related problems, such as diseases caused by various types of microorganisms, in which, in addition to identifying the etiological agent, a contribution can be made by conducting sensitivity and resistance studies to some natural compounds. Due to the specialty of the group members, studies of non-communicable diseases can also be addressed. likewise, the aim is to provide alternative solutions to the problems of environmental pollution and the rational use and utilization of waste.

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. Our work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
