Organization profile

Organization profile

The group is related to the research lines of “Industrial Development of Products and Services” and “sustainable development, entrepreneurship and social responsibility”, and to the rsu lines of “technological innovation and sustainable development” and “economic development, employment and entrepreneurship”, respectively. The rise of technological development, as well as inevitable globalization, have been distancing communities from their cultural identity as opposed to if they were adapted to their traditional culture. Industrial development plays a substantial role in achieving the sustainable development of communities, this being a cross-cutting axis in social, economic and environmental aspects (unesco, 2022). For this reason, it is essential to respect and recover ancestral traditions from material culture and food, promoting synergy between ancestral knowledge and current technological knowledge. In this context, the execution of projects makes it possible to contribute to the achievement of social and economic development without neglecting the preservation of cultural values and genetic resources, promoting innovation with practical and direct solutions that guarantee the resilience of communities.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

  1. SDG 2 - Zero Hunger
    SDG 2 Zero Hunger
  2. SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-being
SDG 3 Good Health and Well-being
