N2 - The The following article corresponds to the implementation of an image recognition mobile application to improve pest control in potato production in Carabamba-Julcan. For this reason, a pre-experimental grade design was carried out, applying instruments on the collection of information, by means of 4 registration cards, which were validated by 3 experts, as well as their reliability, by means of the SPSS version 25 software. implementation of the mobile application, the ICONIX development methodology was used. We worked with a population of 27 pests that were present in the potato plant, from which a sample of 25 pests was taken. After implementation, it was achieved; the reduction of the average time of identification of pests that affect the potato plant in 6 minutes, also decreased the average time of duration of pests that affect the potato plant in 8 minutes, the percentage of incidences of pests in the potato plant and the percentage of efficiency in the application of pesticides in the potato plant was increased by 39%. This research is divided into introduction, state of the art, objectives, material and methods, methodology and framework for the development of the application, result, discussion, conclusions and gratitude.
