Aplicación Móvil y su Influencia en la Responsabilidad Social: Un Estudio de Caso en una Empresa Pesquera de Coishco, Santa - Perú

The present applied research, with a quantitative approach of experimental design, aimed to determine the influence of a mobile application on the social responsibility of a fishing company in Peru. Data collection was done using a survey, both before and after the implementation of the application. The survey was validated by the judgment of 5 experts, and its reliability was assessed using SPSS version 25. The first survey was conducted in September 2022, and the second survey in December of the same year. For the development of the application, the following stages were executed: planning, requirements gathering, specification, design, testing, and launch. The application was in use for a period of 15 days in December 2022. The results obtained after the implementation of the mobile application showed: an increase in the level of social responsibility (medium to high), an increase in the level of social performance (medium to high), the level of economic performance remained high, an increase in the level of shared value (low to medium), and finally, an increase in the level of environmental performance (low to high). With the support of the non-parametric Wilcoxon test, it can be concluded that this implementation significantly influences the variable of social responsibility and the dimensions of social performance, economic performance, shared value, and environmental performance.
