    Abstract

The main objective of this article is to identify the use of soft systems methodology (SSM) in enterprise business models, highlighting its benefits and possible challenges in implementation. A systematic data review was employed to identify key sections related to the application of SSM and its contribution to process optimization in enterprise business models. It seeks to enrich the analysis of learning contexts, methodologies, techniques and objectives related to SSM. This methodology can improve management and performance, especially in areas such as production and logistics. A study was presented highlighting the key concepts oriented to the companies or areas where the SSM were implemented, the techniques and methods employed, and the positive and negative effects that have arisen after its implementation. The aim is to reduce the knowledge gaps concerning the advantages of implementing soft systems methodologies (SSM) in enterprise business models.
