Abstract

Cooperative learning is part of an active pedagogical methodology that is based on teamwork, promoting the development of various skills among students. The objective of this study was to establish the existing differences in the factors associated with cooperative learning in students at public secondary schools in Lima; according to sex, degree of studies they attend at the secondary level and employment status of the teachers who teach the student population. The approach was quantitative, non-experimental design, descriptive type, comparative level. The instrument used was the Atzurra Cooperative Learning Scale adapted for students, this being applied through the Google at students from public schools in Lima. The results of the study show that there are no significant differences in the factors associated with cooperative learning, as well as considering the discriminants of sex, degree of studies to which they belong, and employment status of the teachers who teach them. It is concluded that cooperative learning is a methodology that favors the achievement of student learning both individually and in groups.
