Abstract
This research analyzed the development of automation and renewable energy in orchard cultivation. The objective of the research was to know how automation and renewable energy are evidenced in orchard cultivation in empirical studies from 2016 to 2021. A systematic review of articles found in databases such as Scopus, Scielo, Ebsco and Science Direct was used as methodology. It was possible to find 73 scientific articles; and finally, after an exhaustive filter, it was possible to select 52 studies. The results reflect that the predominant area of automation is data collection and monitoring; it was also identified that renewable energies are more frequent for resource optimization. These results are important because they show the degree of development of automation and renewable energies for orchard crops.
