Abstract

This study presents the development of a Business Intelligence solution to improve the sales process in the company Inversiones La Pequeñita del Porvenir, Trujillo, in 2023, since, in the company, there was a lack of a system dedicated to sales analysis. The study applied a pure experimental design with a random sample of 30 sales processes, presenting in its indicators a reduction of 56 minutes and 6 seconds in the time to prepare reports, 84.6% in information search time and 80.65 % in the cost of preparing reports, to later contrast it with the Mann-Whitney U test, concluding that the BI solution improves the sales process at Inversiones La Pequeñita del Porvenir, Trujillo.
