N2 - The study established the theoretical concepts that support cyberbullying in adolescents, a total of 39 articles were analyzed; through a systematic review type of study, various databases were contemplated such as: Redalyc, Google academic, ALICIA, Scopus; complying with the selection criteria, the results show that cyberbullying is a type of aggression that manifests itself in social networks, with the purpose of minimizing and ridiculing a particular individual; there is the presence of three roles: cyber-aggressor, cyber-victim and cyber-spectator; the main causes are associated with the factors: personal, family and social; finally, in relation to the psychological impact are identified: problems in relation to self-esteem, poor school performance, insomnia, paranoia, among others, which could trigger depressive, anxious and eating disorders.
