Abstract
Virtual education implies the use of adequate didactic strategies to achieve quality teaching. A systematic review was carried out with the objective of identifying the strategies in virtual university education. The searches were carried out in the Scielo, Redalyc, ERIC and Google Scholar databases. The descriptors were: "Virtual education", "communication" "perspectives", "strategies. Free access articles, full text, articles from the last 7 years, in English, Spanish and Portuguese languages were included. Abstracts, duplicate articles and those that did not have relevant information on the variables under study were excluded. After the selection process, 14 articles remained. Regarding the didactic strategies for virtual education, planning and control, motivation, communication, trust, empathy, innovation, design, forms of evaluation, collaborative work, constructivist methodology, and self-regulation strategies stand out. The importance of knowledge of the English language and ICT is highlighted. It is concluded that the didactic strategies used in virtual university education are very useful and must be adapted to respond to the educational model.
