Abstract
The objective of the research is to analyze the psychometric characteristics and internal structure of the sociocognitive battery of vocational self-efficacy for Psychology students, which only has one evidence of validity based on the content. There were 199 Peruvian Psychology students who were doing their pre-professional internship (83.77% females and 16.23% males), selected with intentional non-probabilistic sampling. The programs JAMOVI and AMOS were used for data processing, as well as the bifactor Indexes module in Excel. The Scales of perceived Self-efficacy, Outcome expectations, Interests, Goals, Support and Barriers show adequate indexes of goodness of fit in their internal structure, with the oblique model as opposed to the bifactor model, and expected values in the Omega Coefficient. It is concluded that the battery has adequate evidence of validity based on the internal structure for the investigated population. Finally, the implications of the findings, limitations and scopes for future research are discussed.
