Abstract

Export performance is a tool that allows knowing the competitiveness of a country in the foreign market, in the context of Covid-19 that transformed the world economy. The objective of this research was to analyze the export performance of the member countries of the Andean Community of Nations under the impact of Covid-19. This research was carried out under a quantitative methodology of a simple descriptive type, longitudinal cut, trends. The population was made up of countries from the economic bloc of the Andean Community of Nations, such as: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. The sample is of the census type and the sampling is non-probabilistic, for convenience. Likewise, the data matrix was used as part of the instrument to organize the data extracted from the Trade Map and the Latin American Integration Association. The findings show the existence of a process of influence of Covid-19 on the export performance of the member countries of the Andean Community of Nations. It is concluded that the export performance of the member countries of the Andean Community of Nations is closely linked to the dynamics of each country, and to the external factors that establish advances and setbacks in the processes develop.
