Abstract

Virtual libraries are an important tool for digital inclusion, allowing people to access educational information and resources for free and regardless of their geographical location; above all reliable, due to the amount of information that is available on the Internet, virtual libraries fulfill the function of information filters, being a source of reliable information, with which it is possible to develop communications, if it is necessary to find the link with the Quality Management System (QMS) for university education, through the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The objective is to determine the relationships between the digital inclusion of virtual libraries and the ISO 21001:2018 quality management system for university education. Design/Methodology/Approach. The research was non-experimental in the same group of 42 professors from a Peruvian university carried out using a quantitative approach. Results/Discussion. The majority perceives the prioritization of Sustainable Inclusion compared to the Inclusive Initiative and Transitional Inclusion. Regarding the QMS, Communications are prioritized over Knowledge and Innovations. If we determine the correlations with Spearman's Rho between the dimensions of digital inclusion of virtual libraries with the dimensions of the SGC, they are positive, high and significant; except that Inclusion remains consistent with the 3 dimensions of the QMS being intermediate and 2 not significant, although this is the highest average of the 3 dimensions of digital inclusion of virtual libraries; This information is valuable for those responsible for the processes of digital inclusion of information. It is concluded that all correlations are direct because they are positive; most have high and intermediate correlations because they are correlations greater than or close to 0.5; therefore, all correlations are significant. Originality/Value.
