Abstract

This review article has been developed by compiling several studies published during the last five years, these studies are characterized by being original and addressing the issue of incorporating video games in the educational sector. The main objective of this article is to contribute to knowledge, 3 research questions were formulated and it was obtained as a result that of the 31 selected studies regarding the educational benefits, 29% talk about interactive learning, 19% focus on the motivation and commitment, in the same way 16% refer to the development of specific skills and finally highlighting 10% that refers to collaboration and work in students compared to 26% not mentioning anything.
