Influencia de los Videojuegos en la Educación: Una Revisión Sistemática de la Literatura

Abstract

In the year 2023, the use of video games increased significantly among children and young people in the process of their education. The purpose of this systematic review was to find the best times to use video games in order not to generate addiction, the best genre of video games for education, the benefits they bring and how they help in the communication process, 34 articles were found and after a detailed review, it was obtained that the best time to not generate addiction are 30 minutes to 60 minutes, the best educational genre with 50% and simulation with 35.29%, among the benefits of video games in education was learning and teaching, finally video games became a means of communication for people, where they could experience social skills either with a programmed character or a real player.
