Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the social representation of violence in educational environments. It uses the case study in a secondary educational institution in the city of Huaraz in Peru where it investigates the configurations of the associations; its causes and consequences. Human rights violations caused by discrimination, ignorance of the cultural values that others contain are evident. The social nature of the problem is underlined, insisting on citizen participation for the disarmament of the structures that generate social fragmentation. It is a study of an inductive nature; surveys are designed and applied with the purpose of collecting information to support the final considerations.
