Abstract

Gamification became one of the most used tools, in order to encourage stimulation, concentration to acquire new knowledge and replace the traditional study method. The results of this research showed that between the years 2016-2020, 312 articles were published regarding gamification in mobile applications for education, the most used techniques are: reward, status, achievement and competition. In conclusion, the use of gamification helps to improve the user’s capabilities.
