Abstract

Educational institutions, whether state or private, try to find daily improvements in their educational processes, including educator strategies to teach and the development of student learning; searching improvements in the teaching-learning processes, there are also educational institutions with students who have special educational needs, all this effort in order for them to acquire meaningful learning and therefore be able to socialize in a better way with other people. The objective of this article is to measure the level of acceptance of educational software and the level of learning of language and literature in students with intellectual disabilities perceived by their representatives, for this we work with the Specialized Institution “El Sol Sale para Todos” of Baba, Los Ríos province in Ecuador. The research has a quantitative approach and is of an applied type; A survey was conducted to collect data using the questionnaire instrument that had 31 questions applied to 48 participants. The results indicate favorable opinions towards the attributes of educational software and the learning of language and literature in students with intellectual disabilities. It is concluded that the favorable perception of the representatives contributes to the possibility of using this computer tool in other educational institutions.
