Abstract

The objective of this investigation was to determine the relationship between the use of Codeplex accounting software and the performance of tasks in a General Services and Transportation company; the contrasting design was cross-sectional, non-experimental and correlational; In addition, 4 observation sheets were applied to a sample made up of the records of purchase, sale and weekly work tasks between the period January 2021 and December 2022, obtaining 118 observations as a result. The main results were that the number of invoices issued, the number of accounting records, the number of tasks executed and the number of tasks completed are below the average by 29.2%, 41.7%, 45.8%, 33.3% respectively. It was concluded that only the number of invoices issued has a very high positive correlation with the number of tasks executed, since a Spearman’s Rho coefficient with a value of 0.848 was obtained.
