Resumen
Project management has been constituted for modern organizations in a way of managing to achieve objectives with rationality of resources, including among them costs and time as some of the most representative. In the research, project management is described from a reflective and documentary perspective, considering relevant authors in the area, in order to highlight elements that in current contexts are essential and necessary to consider. The results denote that the literature in the area of is limited, deriving this from concrete applications in specific fields of study, supported in most cases by practical experiences that are oriented towards efficient and timely management in the matter; concluding that it is necessary to start with the requirements in the world, and from them, generate combinations with essential processes that every manager must follow: planning, organization, direction and control, which, adjusted to project management, require a start and a close, due to their characteristics. The combination of visions and work methodologies must be adaptable and flexible, to the extent that they define complete and complex guidelines, which will always be necessary, to successfully manage projects in organizations.
