Resumen
The objective of the present study was to evaluate the psycho- metric properties of the adaptation of the Self-harm Certificate (CAL), which explores the dimensions of severe self-harm and minor self-harm. The research was of an applied type, with a non-experimental design, the sample consisted of 417 high school students from a state school in northern Lima, 221 women and 196 men; from 11 to 18 years old. As a result, the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and the confirmatory one (CFA) projected a model with two factors (severe self-harm and minor self-harm) with adequate goodness-of-fit indices and ac- ceptable internal consistency reliability (0.88). In conclusion, the results indicate that the questionnaire is useful to evaluate relevant aspects of self-injury.
