Resumen

The objective of this research work is to determine the positioning of the Gran Bolívar hotel in the city of Trujillo, 2022. Well, it has been seen that companies such as the hotel sector are not well positioned; since there are shortcomings in some of its attributes. After carrying out the study, it is determined that the Gran Bolívar hotel is positioned in second place with respect to the 3 hotels that are direct competitors, with an evaluation by the guests, concluding that it does not have a good quality of service, being a disadvantage for its positioning, regarding its location, it is highly valued because the hotel has a central location and this facilitates its mobilization, this being an advantage; The image of the Hotel Gran Bolívar is not good because it is an old design. However, there are guests who would like it to become a modern hotel; Regarding the size, it is concluded that its facilities are small and only 24% of the guests indicated that it is Very Good, this being a low percentage, to be considered as the best hotel; Finally, according to the cleanliness attribute, it is determined that the Gran Bolívar hotel presents difficulties; guest rating was quite low. This means that a large number of guests are not satisfied with this attribute.
