Resumen
The objective was to improve the detection of drowsiness in the Platinium Vip Taxi Company of Trujillo through the use of a Multiplatform Mobile Application, obtaining as results: a 1.93% reduction in the percentage of time with eyes closed, a 0.007% reduction in the percentage of mouth opening time, in the same way, in addition, a decrease in the percentage of face pose deviation time was achieved with a minimum of 0.009% and a reduction in the percentage of driver absence time of 0.002%. Because the population was 30 drivers for both the control group and the experimental group, the Shapiro Wilk normality test was used, and Student’s T-test and Mann-Whitney U were used to test the hypotheses. Concluding that with the use of the mobile application, the detection of drowsiness in this company improved by a considerable percentage.
