Resumen
The aim of the research was to evaluate the effect of a mindfulness meditation program on psychological well-being. A randomized controlled study was performed, with 38 participants divided into a control group and an experimental group. To assess psychological well-being, the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory STAI, the perceived stress scale PSS-10 and the scale of positive states of the PSOM mind were used. These findings suggest that mindfulness meditation is moderately effective in improving trait anxiety and stress but effective in improving state anxiety and positives states of mind.
