Resumen

This research is focused on the production of quality biogas, under the monitoring of production parameters; with the general objective of determining the difference between the calorific power and the thermal performance of Biogas produced from organic solid waste and liquefied petroleum gas. The results obtained show a biogas with a specific heat of 95 8 Kcal/m3 and thermal yield of 9.25%, in addition to a production between 1.8 to 2 m3 of biogas for every 100L of daily load; The Anderson Darling test was applied to determine the normality of the data and the ANOVA test to contrast the results. This concluding that the levels of calorific power and thermal performance of biogas are of a high and functional level for any rural and urban project desp ite being lower than those of LPG, providing a reliable proposal for optimization of its waste and implementation of clean biogas production techniques.
