N2 - The objective of the study was to analyze the factors that affect consumer behavior in the gastronomic sector in the city of Chiclayo. The study has a quantitative approach and descriptive scope that has involved conducting surveys directly to consumers, in order to obtain information on the trend and behavior of gastronomic consumption, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The instrument used was a survey applied to a sample of 229 male and female diners who eat in restaurants in Chiclayo. It is concluded that social, personal and psychological factors have a significant impact on the purchase decision of gastronomic companies in the city of Chiclayo.
