N2 - This study describes the export development, product innovation, and sustainability of Peruvian export companies toward the United States market, using a descriptive and quantitative methodology based on data from customs declarations submitted by companies trading with the United States, recorded on the Peruvian customs web portal over 20 years. A 1.03% annual growth in Peruvian exports to the United States was observed, with greater diversification of exported products, reflected in a 13% increase in tariff subheadings. Business sustainability demonstrated strength, with a 26.7% increase in exporting companies despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Recommendations include strengthening trade ties, investing in production diversification, and supporting export companies. Strategies such as analysis of US market demand, constant product innovation, and adoption of sustainable business practices are proposed.
