Resumen
The objective of the research was to determine the incidence of credit evaluation in a microfinance loan portfolio in the department of Apurímac-Peru. The variables are studied within microfinance, based on the Grameen and Action Schools that are based on the reduction of poverty and the financial inclusion of people. The research was of an explanatory level, non-experimental design, and a basic quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 358 credit files and 18 workers; The techniques of the survey and documentary analysis were used, and the questionnaire and the research file were used as instruments; Reliability was obtained with Cronbach’s Alpha and validity was made through expert judgment. The results show that there is sufficient information to carry out the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of a credit file and the preponderance of credit classified as normal, which allows us to say that the financial institution has a good credit portfolio. The investigation concludes the existence of dependence between the credit evaluation and the credit portfolio, so the credit evaluation affects the quality of the credit portfolio.
