Resumen

Feminism has had a notable presence within Latin American critical thought, becoming an essential element when it comes to specifying the tensions that have arisen as a result of Western hegemony. It calls for large social mobilizations, at the same time that it encompasses various theoretical positions, which have in common the vindication of the condition of women, their autonomy and the exercise of their citizenship. However, over the years, the feminist movement has diversified, giving rise to a series of dissimilar struggles, with different edges, which broaden the horizons of the debate. At present, on a theoretical level, it is linked to decolonial thought, urging debate on the patterns of ontological, epistemic and political violence present in Latin America, which have real manifestations about women who are invisible, and victims from patriarchal rationality, Eurocentric and modern. For these reasons, the article analyzes the positions of Latin American critical feminism, but it is also presented as a denunciation of violence against women.
