Gestión de mantenimiento basada en confiabilidad para incrementar la disponibilidad de las excavadoras 390FL de una minera, Cajamarca 2022

This research seeks to determine the impact of the proposed improvement in maintenance management on the availability of the 390 FL excavators of a mining company. The methodology was a quantitative approach applied as a purposeful diagnostic design. The data collection techniques were Observation, Survey and Document Analysis. In the diagnosis it was determined that the organization criterion of the maintenance area is met in only 44.7%, hoping to increase it, the excavators analyzed presented annual availability of 71%, 75%, 84% and 86%. As a result, the availability of excavators was improved by 14%, 12%, 28% and 37% respectively. Concluding that the proposal to improve maintenance management based on reliability has a positive effect on the availability of the FL 390 excavators with an increase of 22.75% in the fleet, with the initial investment being S/ 9,810.00, the NPV of S/ 11,873.75, the IRR of 70%, the PRI of 2.26 and the B/C of S/1.06, confirming the economic viability of the proposal.
