N2 - The objective of this study was to analyze the influence of halophilic bacteria for the recovery of saline soils, applying the ANOVA statistical model with multiple contrast of means. The research was divided into two phases, in phase one, tests of isolation, selection and replication of halophilic bacteria were carried out, in addition to bacterial growth and viability in liquid medium with different doses of sodium chloride (3%, 6%, 9% and 12%); on the other hand, phase 2 of laboratory analysis consisted of the determination of point edaphic variables (pH, electrical conductivity) in the sowing of the 7 treated samples. The results showed that a direct effect of halophilic bacteria in the decrease of the (Ce) of the soil, going from 5.3 ds/m to 2.8 ds/m (A1), 2.2 ds/m (C2), 3.2 ds/m (E3), values that correspond to very light salinity (< 2 ds/m). In relation to the variables, improvements in the evaluated characteristics were evidenced, according to this, it is evident that the halophilic bacteria used in this research have potential for the rehabilitation of salinized soils.
