Resumen
This study offers a pioneering evaluation of how different types of gaze affect the manifestation of transformational leadership, employing a qualitative methodology that encompasses in-depth interviews with educators, documentary analysis, and Sankey diagrams. It was discovered that an empathetic gaze amplifies this form of leadership, while an authoritarian gaze diminishes it. The principal finding of this research is the identification of a meaningful interconnection between transformational leadership and the “gaze of being” within the post-pandemic educational context of Venezuela, with immediate ramifications for extracurricular pedagogy. Understanding this interaction provides pragmatic tools for guiding and inspiring both educators and students alike. This study makes a contribution to academic literature by examining this nexus, offering a lens through which to address specific challenges in extracurricular pedagogy, particularly in the backdrop of changes that typify the current educational milieu.
