N2 - The objective of this research was to contribute to the reduction of deficiencies in the process of supervision and release of the School Feeding Program by applying the methodology of continuous improvement. The study began with a diagnosis based on a documentary analysis of the 2021 food service; then, the Deming Cycle methodology was applied (Plan, Do, Check and Act). The Pareto Diagram was used in the analysis. The results showed a level of non-compliance (deficiencies) of 31% in the year 2021, and C1: Mandatory documentation submitted after the deadline and with observations was identified as the main cause of the deficiencies, accounting for 20% of the total. The application of continuous improvement in the food service 2022 achieved a 21% reduction in deficiencies, allowing for the timely delivery of food to students in the town of Tumbes, and the optimization of the process. The Student T- test was also applied, obtaining a result less than 0.05. Therefore, it is concluded that the Deming methodology contributed to a significant decrease in the deficiencies in the food supervision and release process.
