Resumen
Introduction: Strategies such as recreational games allow improving the knowledge, skills and abilities of the students, making a better integration with the subjects of study. Methodology: The research is applied, the research approach was quantitative and the design was experimental. The study sample consisted of 55 students from an elementary school. The applied technique was the survey and the instrument used was the knowledge test. The instrument was worked on by expert judgment, who evidenced its effectiveness, relevance and coherence; from this, internal consistency reliability was obtained through the KR-20. Results: The application of the recreational games workshop shows significant results in its dimensions of academic performance. Conclusion: It was determined that the application of a recreational games workshop influences the cognitive, procedural and attitudinal dimensions of students' performance.
