Resumen
Objective: the present study aimed to conduct a bibliometric review in Scopus on complex thinking and transdisciplinarity between 2007 and 2023. Design/Methodology/Approach: this was a bibliometric analysis that defined the metrics of scientific production. The indicators were obtained from 81 documents chosen from the Scopus database using keywords in English (complex thinking, transdisciplinarity). Results/Discussion: the results show that the years with the highest scientific production were 2021 and 2022 (n=26; 32.1%). In addition, the United States (11.3%; n=17) is the country with the most publications, as is the Universidade de São Paulo (n=4). The journal Frontiers In Public Health published 3 papers, while the most cited journal was Sustainability Science with 105 citations, with authors Allison, E.H. and Armitage, D. being the most cited (n=193 citations each). Conclusions: It is concluded that the scope of complex thinking and transdisciplinarity has increased, both in terms of production and authorship as well as thematic variety, due to the integrative strategy of transdisciplinarity to make complex thinking visible in any subject. Originality/Value: The transdisciplinary attitude requires a constant dialogue on knowledge and complexity, which sees the world as a place of research and potential.
