N2 - This research was proposed with the objective of determining a sustainable tourism proposal for the economic development of the main tourist areas of the district of Moche, through a diagnosis carried out by means of surveys applied to the inhabitants of the district of Moche and information gathered from public institutions. The present study justifies its realization by adding to and contributing to the contributions of local research on the treatment of the subject, so that it can be considered as a basis for future research. The methodology applied is basic, non-experimental, quantitative and cross-sectional, while the techniques to be applied are documentary analysis and surveys directed to the population of Moche. Articles from the last five years belonging to the areas of business, management and accounting and social sciences were consulted in the Scopus and ProQuest databases. The findings indicate that the conservation of tourist areas is crucial, according to the prioritization of indicators by the inhabitants of the district. The influence of this together with climate change, commitment and environmental management will determine the development of sustainable tourism.
