Resumen
The objective of this research was to verify if job satisfaction has an influence on the level of engagement of workers in companies in Ecuador and Peru; cross-sectional, quantitative study that used the Paúl Spector job satisfaction questionnaire and the Schaufeli & Bakker engagement questionnaire; worked with a non-probabilistic sample, at convenience, surveying 897 people, 51.2% were women, 55.5% have a professional degree, 9.8% have a master’s degree and 78.5% worked in a private company. The majority of the sample worked in a service company 79.8% and 60.5% have 1 to 3 years of experience in their work. The results showed that satisfaction positively and significantly influences Engagement (0.532; p-value < 0.05); which allowed accepting the research hypothesis.
