Resumen
The article was developed with the purpose of improving temperature control in children from 0 to 10 years of age at the Víctor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital in Trujillo, through the implementation of an internet of things system. The type of research was applied to a pre-experimental degree, for its development the embedded systems methodology was used, making use of the phases of analysis, design, development, integration and testing. The results obtained from the 53 records, after the implementation of the Internet of Things system, were a decrease of 4 minutes in terms of temperature measurement time and an increase of 92.86% in the number of temperature control samples in a period of 1 hour, this given the difference in the method of taking temperature; the implemented one consists of a constant control of it, unlike manual intake. It is concluded that with the implementation of an internet of things system, temperature control was significantly improved.
