N2 - Companies need to improve their processes to reduce the rate of product defects, improve production efficiency and product quality, and reduce production costs to improve their competitiveness in the industry. The study took as an example a Peruvian outsourcing dedicated to serving FTTH (Fiber To The Home) installations for Claro Perú, a subsidiary of América Móvil, one of the leading companies in integrated telecommunications services in Latin America through improvement steps. of Six Sigma which is a systematic method of operations management that seeks to improve the capacity of the production process by reducing all waste, which is carried out in accordance with the DMAIC cycle. In the execution of the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control activities, the scope of the implemented actions is summarized as references to control charts, development of procedures and training to guarantee the maintenance of the implemented actions. Percentage increases in productivity were achieved in the order of 27.08%, effectiveness of 11.69% and efficiency of 14.52%.
