Resumen
This research has purpose to recognize the governance processes visible in the non-school educational subsystem of the Men's Indigenous Reservation in the department of Nariño (Colombia). The study was based on the systemic paradigm, the explanatory level qualitative approach and grounded ethnography. 63 people, including members of the indigenous community, participated in the study. Verbiage and mingas were used as information collection techniques, ancestral practices of the same community that were adopted in this research, in addition to participant observation. The data were analyzed under the optics of Elinor Ostrom's Framework for Institutional Analysis and Development (IAD), through a coding and categorization process. On 1,118 analysis units selected from the transcripts, 2,570 open codings were carried out, which allowed the creation of various axial codes (114) and inductive categories (20). The results show compliance with the IAD principles for the case studied, which is considered evidence to consider the non-school educational subsystem of the Males Indigenous Reservation as a common good since governance practices emerge and are reproduced within the framework of its own education.
